| Our camping trip | As some of you know it was the school holidays in my part of the world for the past two weeks. Last week I decided to take my twins, Creek and Trinity, on their first camping trip with me... (they went camping on my uncle's farm in the wheat-belt two Easters ago with my sister and extended family, but I was sick with the flu -- it was actually the long weekend when I became addicted to the net big time!! LOL)
I decided that since it's been 6 years since I was last camping, and since I've never taken the kids with me before (they were 2 that time, and it was a break for me), that we'd just do the 2 nights... I wasn't sure where to go as didn't want to go too far from Perth (home) for such a short time, nor be too far away in case the whole thing was a disaster (they ARE only 8 years old, after all)!! It was also imperative that it be in the bush, not a caravan park, as that's the kind of girl I am, and also I wanted to take the first-born, too (ie Cleo, the dog).
Some of you already know that I lived out bush for quite a long time (months and months) before the kids came along, but that was in Far North Queensland, and I was with their father back then... Anyway, I basically know what I'm doing, but it has been a long while...
I had an old edition of a local book (fantastic, if you're in the area) called "Free Camping in the South-West, and your four-legged friend can come too!!" There's a lot of great sites listed, but many were too far away for our purposes this trip, and ones close to Perth were in an area where the government authorities have baited with poison for foxes and other feral animals -- you're allowed to take your dog there, but they have to be on a lead the whole time, and I wouldn't be able to relax at all as I'd be way too worried about my dog. Then I found this one site that sounded ok, it was described as a beach camp, and it was about 2 hours south of Perth. This camp site ended up being a fantastic decision!!
The other challenge that I was facing is that I've just recently sold my people-mover (Tarago) and bought the tiniest, cutest little car called a Daihatsu Sirion (there's pics in my pics section if you're interested, it's very girly!!) The problem was I wasn't sure how much I could cram in there!! LOL I ended up making the decision to forgo the air mattresses and take a VERY thick doona instead (this was a bad decision!! LOL)
We headed off on Thursday morning, with the exhaust pipe just about scraping on the road. Unfortunately, I forgot the most basic principle of camping and scouting (did I mention I'm a Cub Scout leader??), that is, Be Prepared... I was not, at all. No excuses, just hoping to fate and optimism that all would be well. I won't tell you all the twists and turns of that first night, except to say that we ended up having take-away for dinner in Bunbury (a nearby city, in fact the only other city in Western Australia besides Perth) cos the camp stove wasn't working, I got about 4 hours sleep (in 15-30 minute intervals because the ground was so hard -- the kids were fine, though).
We went for a lovely long (1.5 hours) walk along the beach to the nearest town in the morning, and the kids had fun walking up and then running down a huge sand-dune, as well as looking for shells. I'd bought a new camp stove in Bunbury the previous night, but then I discovered that the gas bottle was also empty, so no coffee in morning, and another trip back to Bunbury (luckily only 20-30 minutes drive away) to fill up the bottle, and then discovering that the gas bottle was out of date (only last 10 years) and I had to buy another one!! LOL
At least we are set up for the next trip!!
After we got the gas bottle filled, I figured that we might as well go down to one of the Bunbury beaches. We found a nice picnic shelter and I cooked up pancakes for the kids and scrambled eggs and toast for me (a very belated breakfast -- much more like lunch!!) After we'd eaten, and while I was cleaning up, the kids made friends (as kids do), begged some cardboard off me (I had the camp stove box still) and went off sliding down this great grassy slope. I had to eventually drag them away.
On the way back we did a couple of touristy things, including taking a scenic drive which took us through a town called Australind, which is on the shore of a beautiful estuary. There was a great board-walk that we stopped off at, and Trinity got to see her first ever dolphin (a lifelong dream, she assures me -- which sounds pretty funny coming from an 8 yo, but I know that she's serious)
Back at the camp site (which we had to ourselves), we went for a little walk and disturbed some kangaroos nearby which was very exciting. Luckily Cleo is a very obedient dog and did not give chase (roos can kill dogs by ripping their bellies open with their sharp back claw). It ws getting late and we still needed to get organised for dinner, make the fire, etc, so we decided to do some more exploring the next morning. We made a small fire both nights, toasted marshmallows, and then when I went to bed I put it out by shovelling sand onto it.
We packed up the car in the morning, and then had another great walk, this time throught the bush, saw a heap more roos, and quite a few beautiful little fairy wrens (bright blue the males are, but too quick for my camera). Then it was time to go. The kids were both filthy dirty, tired and happy. I count it as one of our best family holidays and know that we are going to be doing a lot more camping in the future -- especially at our new fave spot!! It really was a lovely camping area, easy to get to, shady, and beautiful, and best of all, we had it to ourselves and the roos!! The beach is only 300 metres away over a sand-dune, but it is a bit rough for the kids to be swimming there. We had some fun watching some guys surfing off the local town beach, though. | | Posted: 10/13/2008 at 04:03 | Read 107 times | 6 comments | Leave Comment |
 | Update about my weight loss | Well, it has been an interesting couple of weeks....
I got to 67 kilos (147.4 pounds) and stayed there for about 1 week. I would lose some, then put some back on, then stay there, then more of same... Eventually I realised that 67 kg must have been what they call a "set point" for me. A set point is a weight that you've been for a while at some point and that your body remembers and feels comfortable with... When you reach that set point again, then the body doesn't want to push through that... It is also the reason why so many people lose weight and then put it back on again -- that is, they didn't reset their set point (or more likely, didn't know that you had to or even could !!) I had to take some (guided) action to get past that, but once I did, I started losing again...
I have also discovered that I lose weight differently to most people... Most people on this program lose a steady 100 to 200g (0.2 - 0.4 lbs) per day. That way they can easily monitor what happens if they do something "wrong" (eat the wrong food, not walk enough steps, not drink enough water, etc). But that would be too simple for me, apparently!! LOL Instead, what I do, is I lose a BIG amount in one day (like 700 or 900 g) and then I might lose a bit then next day, and then I gain 200 or 300 g back... It makes it harder to monitor, but it is good now that I have worked it out. I have stopped stressing about it...
So, this week has been my first Add More Food weeks (remember I'm going to do two, and then go back to weight loss again)... Initially, even though I followed instructions, I continued to lose weight.... Sounds good, but it isn't really, as if you don't learn how to maintain your weight within a kilo of where you're at, while adding food then two things happen. Firstly, your body gets used to living on the reduced amount of food (no, you don't get hungry, but you are eating differently!!), and then the weight loss stops. And secondly, you won't reset your set point.
I started the week at 66.2 kg (145.6 lb) , but then I ended up dropping to 65.7 kg (144.5 lb) which I maintained for one day, and now I am back up to 66.1 kg (145.4 lb). So, all in all, I think that is pretty successful. Of course, I have to get through another week of this!
I already know that 65 kg (143 lb) is a set point for me, as when I was very fit back when the twins would stay in the pram, I was stuck on 65 kg for a couple of years... This was before I knew about set points, you see... LOL
So, I know that I am going to have to push on through that one, too... That is my first goal. My 8 year old daughter, Trinity, who loves computer time management games, calls my second goal, my expert goal. LOL That goal is 62 kilos (136.4 lb). The reason that I didn't set it as my original goal is that I thought it was just complete pie in the sky, but now I know differently!! Yeeha!!
Then I should be able to see my almost forgotten hip-bones!! If that is too skinny, I am sure I won't have any trouble putting it back on!! Anyone for Brie and bickies?? | | Posted: 8/29/2008 at 03:32 | Read 133 times | 6 comments | Leave Comment |
 | I've lost almost 6 kilos (13 pounds) in past 2.5 weeks!!!! | I was always one of those skinny girls that could eat everything (and anything, and did!!) and never put on weight, or not a lot... You know the kind, you've probably hated them your whole life!! LOL I am also quite tall (174cm, or 5 foot 9 inches), so even when I did put on a little bit, it was never very noticeable...
Anyway, when I was 33 I weighed about 60 kg (1 kg = 2.2 lbs, so about 132 pounds), and then I got pregnant with twins... I put on 20 kilos over the course of the pregnancy... Of course, I lost some of that when they were born, etc, but still, not exactly skinny any more...
When the twins were about 2.5 years I started putting them in the pram for an hour almost every morning, up and down hills, and then a heap of other exercises as I got fitter (sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, etc etc) and got myself mega-fit... I got my weight down to 65 kgs. My heart rate dropped so low that they even picked up an innocent heart murmur!! However, I still couldn't get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
But, children grow up and at 4 they refused to get in the pram any more (and fair enough, too!!), and they were too young to leave, and too slow to walk with and that was the end of that... Bit by bit, I lost my fitness, and my weight slowly increased...
Then two years ago I turned 40 (I'm sure that has something to do with it...!!), and when I weighed myself nearly 3 weeks ago, I weighed 72.8 kgs... Now, I realise that this doesn't make me huge, exactly, but it is far from slim, too... If you put on 2 kgs for every year over 40, then it's not much each year, but after 10 years??? So, I realised that it was time to nip it in the bud...
I started a new eating program on Monday 28th July (less than 3 weeks ago), and I have already lost 5.8 kgs!! I actually lost 1.4kg on the very first day!! You'd swear that I was pushing the world's cutest baby (aren't they all??) around in a pram instead of my shopping trolley, because I am so proud -- it is so full of healthy food!!
I am so stoked. I am not allowed to advertise this program on the net, so I can't tell you too much, but I CAN say that it works without intense exercise (just monitoring your activity with a pedometer, and getting it up to 10 000 steps per day) -- not a problem for me, I do 15 000 most days, but it's been interesting wearing one... I have not had any cravings, and am not hungry at all... In fact, I am eating MORE than before -- you snack all day on this (but the secret is in what you snack on!! and, no, it isn't fruit!) The weight is just falling off, and best of all, I am learning so much about food and how my body reacts... There is a maintenance plan to this program, and I can so see myself staying at my ideal weight after this, because I now understand what to do!!
The other great benefit is that I am full of energy!! On Wednesdays I work for 6.5 hours in my cleaning business, and I usually get home exhausted, collapse into an armchair and bemoan the fact that I have to lever myself up at some stage to cook some dinner for the kids (or drive up to the local take-away) LOL Last Wednesday, I got home, took the kids for a walk for 30 minutes and was half-way through cooking dinner when I realised that it was Wednesday and I was supposed to be exhausted on the couch!!
There have been other health benefits, too, and this is after less than 3 weeks!! I have even stopped drinking wine, which I was tending to over-indulge in... just a bad habit, really, when six o'clock rolled around... Now, I have a herbal or green tea, instead.
The program I am on has a very scientific basis, but you don't have to understand all of that to get the benefits, and it is VERY sustainable. I'm aiming for 65 kg by Monday week (ie 25 August). Then I stop losing for 2 weeks, and learn how to sustain that weight while adding more foods (I'll probably have a wine then!! LOL) and then my ultimate goal is 62kg. Should reach that in 3 or 4 more weeks!! Then I'm onto Lifetime management, where I'll be good for 19 out of 21 meals per week...
I will keep you all posted with updates to this blog as I go...

 | 7 Random things about me... |
The
rules of the game:
Each
player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who
are tagged need to write on their own blog their seven things, as
well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7
Friends to tag and list their names. Don't tag a friend that has
already been tagged. We want to see how far this really goes. We can
actually track it and find out more about each other. Don't forget to
leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to
read your blog!
I
have been tagged by a lot of people: Lisa Jenny Heather Barb Karin Roby Yuwasia Emilie
(if
you tagged me and your name/link doesn't appear here, then apologies,
let me know and I will rectify – it has been a busy week, and some
things are bound to fall through the cracks. Please don't take it
personally...!!)
7
random things about me:
My
children were born 16 minutes apart, Creek (son) was at 3.06am and
Trinity (daughter) at 3.22am
My
mother died when I was 17 and my Dad when I was 21 (on the weekend
of my 21st birthday, but he waited until after the
party...)
I
am the youngest child by 8 years, and have an older brother and
sister... It was a bit like being an only child growing up as there
was no one to play or fight with...And yes, I was spoiled !! LOL
One
of my favourite moments was one quite misty morning, walking out of
the rainforest at not long after dawn into a just-harvested sugar
cane field, and coming across a herd of wild brumbies (wild horses)
who were enjoying the abundant sugar cane off-cuts on the ground...
I managed to get quite close to them, and I will never forget the
way they wheeled and pranced...
I
lived in London for a year when I was 23-24 years old
Until
I was about 30 years old, I considered myself a Marxist-Leninist (I
no longer have any interest in politics) and actually find this fact
totally hilarious. I was also completely depressive – so just know
in my heart of hearts, that change is always possible (and I am
living proof!!)
I
have to move by April 8th
with my twins and dog and cat, and we still haven't got a place to
move to, but I am packing anyway and trusting in the universe that
the place will come.... (ps I wrote this on the morning of Monday
31st
March, and this is the update on the evening of same day: tonight I
found out about a place and spoke to the landlord about a house that
is vacant and ready for me to move into, and that answers every
thing I was asking the universe for: 3 bedrooms, close enough to
present area that I don't have to move the kids from the school
where they are happy, it is ok to have a dog, there is a pool and
the rent is very reasonable and affordable... I am stoked and faith
is flying high!!)
Now
I am going to tag some of my friends here:
DolphinDeb Bob Ilias Tomi
Bassman Clem Matty Jah B
InI
I
hope that you can all do this, if you can't for whatever reason, can
you please let me know, so that I can invite someone else to take
your place? But it had better be a damned good reason!! LOL

 | My Yuwie Vision |
Can
yuwie make myspace a footnote in history? If we are to do that then
we have to marinate ourselves in the belief that what we are creating
is worthwhile, a far superior option, and that it has the capacity to
pay those of us who do the work for a lifetime at least...We must
also be convinced that this is also true for those that we bring into
our referral tree who are also prepared to do some work in getting
yuwie a much bigger presence on the Web...
Is
it possible that we could create a site that is that big, and that
awesome? Well, if yuwie is offering everything that myspace does,
plus the capacity to earn ongoing income, then why on earth wouldn't
people be moving over here in droves? There are a few reasons that
stop people and one of them is the reason for this blog... In fact,
Korry and his team are so receptive to our suggestions because they
want to improve the site, and are still in the development stage,
that we really have the opportunity to impact things here, and not
only with our profiles (and there is already a history of this having
happened)... All of our success depends on each other, including
yuwie's as a whole.
For
once and all, This place is NOT about page views .... It is not
about visiting your 200 or 800 or whatever amount of friends you have
every day, or once a week and awarding them a number of page views in
the hope that they will return the favour ... It is particularly not
about this when you do the commenting through the bypass method and
do not even award your friend a view...!!! I do not feel obliged to
visit any of you, and will only visit as the mood takes me... Social
networking is addictive, as many of us have discovered, but it
doesn't have to be so all-consuming if you are not manically
returning every comment... Certainly, I am not promoting rudeness,
but I am appalled to have so many of my friends apologising because
they haven't visited my page in a few days...!! I have even seen
people apologising on the noticeboard en masse because they can't do
their normal rounds. This is completely unnecessary. My real world
friends don't visit that often ... Why are you feeling obligated in
such a ridiculous way? It is totally crazy. You won't make money
that way, if that is what concerns you... I even had one person who I
asked to be my friend through another friend as I couldn't add her
any other way, and she seems like a nice person, and I was informed
via my friend that this person didn't have room for me in their
roster, as they were currently finding it hard to make the rounds of
their present friends. Insane.
Yuwie
is a social networking site!! What does that mean? It means that
Korry Rogers is going to pay you longterm for building this site for
him so that he can rake in the Advertising dollars and share a large
part of that revenue with the actual builders of this site... Did he
envisage a pay per click site? Nowhere that I see in the
advertising/referral medium and yet that is what all this ridiculous
chain emails and friend adder, and manic meaningless comment giving
is encouraging!! In the words of Bob Newhart, just stop it!!! (To
see this video and have a really good laugh, click this
link). If you would like further insight on this topic,
please visit the wonderful Marco's blog on Mass
Commenting.
If
you don't believe me, read Thomas's
blog (and he is one of the most successful people here with
84 000 people in his referral tree at time of writing!!). One thing
I have definitely learned through my off-line networking business is
“Don't argue with success!!” His interest here is certainly more
vested than any of yours (presently), so do you really think he would
be arguing for something that would be detrimental to the site??
Please THINK, people!!!
It
is counter-productive... I know that this is a minority of people,
but all you people are doing is giving the site a bad rep on the
web... You have only to look at YuwiePal's blog
on our first entry in Wikipedia to see that Yuwie is being touted as
Spam, and little wonder!!
So,
what should you be doing? Well, first, establish proper
relationships with the people that you connect with. Maybe you
should start a club, or at the very least, join one... There you will
meet people that you connect with... Then you can invite your
friends, and some of them will join and you will further cement
relations with some of them... This is about developing friendships,
not about having thousands of friends, and running rampant every day
using Linky or your precious hours sending people comments (no matter
how pretty they are!!). How do you create a meaningful relationship
with someone here? Well, how do you do it in life?? You interact,
you communicate, you listen, you be there for them... You offer
help, and advice (if asked), you direct them to resources that you
think might benefit them, you LISTEN!!! But most of all, you really
interact with them about their lives, or about their interests as
evidenced in their blogs, and you don't fake it!! My close
friendships here are mainly formed by messaging, as this is private.
Yes,
I have 1200 friends, but I visit maybe 10 of them every day or so,
and another 100 when the mood strikes, or when they contact me, or
when I see they have something interesting on the noticeboard...!!
Do I worry about page views ?? NO!!! I have enough good and fresh
content on my site that I know enough people will read my blogs and
will come back periodically to see if there's something new (and I
try to provide them with something...!)
Remember,
CONTENT IS KING!!! For instance, do any of you seriously think that
Fran
or Freymous
or Marco
(for instance, I could pick heaps of others...) have any
concerns over Page views?? No, of course not!! Because they offer
fabulous and ongoing content on their pages...!
So,
you up your content, great, and don't just put pics, although they
are good, they get boring (my opinion, remember, this is MY blog –
you can write your own on your page!!). If you want to know more
about writing blogs, please read this
blog of mine. Loke
has some fantastic ideas about how to improve your profile page, and
how it is only an introduction and advertisment for your blogs and
further content... It is imperative that your blogs offer good
content, and don't just trick people into opening another page...
REFERRALS!!!
Check out
Jaime's
blog
a> for a very succinct explanation as to why he (and I)
would prefer one (active) referral compared with 1000 page views (or
even 100000 or even really 1 million!!)... This is a business of
creating an ongoing passive income... As long as your account stays
active (ie one post per year) and your downline is built, your income
will come in... ( I have double-checked this with yuwie support team,
you'd better believe it!! I am NOT wasting my time building something
that isn't going to pay my grandkids...!) Stop viewing this with a
job mentality -- that just proves to everyone else that you are a
loser...! If you want on-going income you had better change the way
you think – see my blogs on
The
Power of Duplication
and Delayed
Gratification.
Now
I might just have called you a loser, which must seem a bit harsh,
but if you are doing the wrong thing (ie the thing that is not going
to give you ongoing income) and you are being duplicated by your
referral tree (often the case as they are watching you to see what it
is they should do, and how this site operates...), then you are
really impacting not only your own income, but also the site's
viability... A lot of people all doing something stupid is not going
to give this site a good reputation..
I
am not wasting my time commenting 1200 (more soon) friends... Why
grow a large friends base, then? Well, it is certainly not an ego
thing!! It is for two reasons: firstly, the larger the friend base,
the more people potentially read my Friends Feed, Noticeboard and
Friends Status notices... That means that the larger the percentage
of people who are likely to come to my blogs... This is a marketing
business, after all. And secondly, the person that I initially make
“friends” with might not connect with me in the slightest, but
one of their friends, or visitors, might like the look of either me
or one of my blog or pic or profile comments, might come to my page,
and hey presto!! I have another good relationship forming with
someone I really connect with...
That
is another way of getting good quality friends here: make intelligent
comments on your friends' blogs, especially ones that leave your
readers wanting to know more... I have gained many friends this way,
and even one referral (Jah B InI)
who claimed that he liked my attitude and therefore was signing up in
my team. Oldbuddy writes a great blog about how to advertise yourself around yuwie via
commenting. It is important when commenting on someone else's blog
that you treat them with respect and only leave positive comments –
if you can't avoid telling them something negative, save it for a
private message and try to couch it in helpful, rather than
accusatory terms. Just remember, that their other friends will be
seeing your comments, and that you are, in effect, sitting in their
lounge-room...
So
to build your friends' base what should you do? Should you get
involved with friends adder emails (spam, in my opinion) or Friend
Adder clubs? I
think you’ll find that while having friends is important, it is
also an offshoot of what you do here at yuwie. That is, offer people
enough value and the friends will come. If you add friends in this
manner, then there tends not to be a real connection, therefore they
tend not to be real friends who visit you (ie page views) and give
you information, support, etc. Yuwie is first and foremost a social
networking site. All networking businesses are driven by
relationships.
I
would suggest to you that a better strategy would be to concentrate
on just adding a few good friends every day, establishing/nurturing
relationships, building and updating your page content, and REALLY
FOCUS on referrals.
I
look for friends who I can relate to, I always request a few of the
newcomers (to make them feel welcomed so they’ll stick around), and
I also look to request people who are currently online (at least I
know that they’re active and you can immediately establish a
relationship with them). If you keep your content fresh, they’ll
keep coming back for more! If you add friends from those emails or
those clubs, who is to say that they are active even??
Any
networking is a numbers game, you have to put a lot of numbers
through the system to see which ones will come up trumps -- that
works for referring, and it also works for Friends... This is not to
denigrate any of the people that I'm “friends” with, and whom I
never visit... I am sure that 99.9% of you are wonderful people, but
we might not have much in common, or maybe we just haven't connected
yet! I don't see how me sending you (or vice versa) some HTML code
or a copy and paste is ever going to bring us closer... Now people,
please don't mishear me, I am not saying that I don't appreciate your
comments, but I am saying that I prefer personal ones... I read your
typed comment and pay more attention to that than I do for any of the
pretty or funny HTML code that I used to get. In fact, I stopped
sending HTML comments about 3 weeks before I stopped accepting them.
Yuwie is an evolving experience for us all, and I originally loved
the pretty comments, but they soon became my less favoured.
With
all the wonderful innovations that Korry keeps adding to the site,
and the fantastically responsive attitude of himself and his team to
the active members of this website who are literally building his
business for him, then I believe that we have a huge future here at
yuwie... Make sure that you are one of the people here who are
furthering that vision, and not retarding it... We literally have
the opportunity of creating the greatest website on the Internet, and
of financially profiting from that, let's make sure we create
something of which we can all be proud.

 | Peace, love and communication -- the Dalai Lama | I have a wonderful new referral, Jah B InI, who has brought this to my attention and asked that I help to publicise it....
This
involves the Craziness now going on in China with the Tibetan unrest.
China is now considering the use of force rather than negotiation in
this matter.
As China is going to host the next Olympics, the
use of force would dissolve the bonds with the rest of the world in a
matter of moments.
Can you help spread this petition so that President Hu might know the viewpoint of the world at large.
Here is the link. The Dalai Lama is asking us all to sign a petition to help promote peace and dialogue... I believe that this is one on the absolute beauties of yuwie... that we are an international community, unconstrained by political borders, and that we are also (largely) a community dedicated to peaceful communication... Let's use our yuwie power to spread a message of love and peace and communication....
Please, if you see any value in those ideals, sign the petition, and spread the message amongst your own friends by either re-posting this blog, or writing your own (I'm sure much better) one....
The people of Tibet thank you, I am sure, as do I...

 | Two things I like | I've done this before, but David asked so nicely that I'm doing it again, probably different answers, I am consistent in my inconsistency, at least...
Two names you go by: 1 Sandra 2. Mummy
Two things you are wearing right now: 1. red wrap-around dress 2. underwear, of course!! LOL
Two things you would want (or have) in a relationship: 1. intellectual stimulation/sympatico 2. freedom (to be me)

 | Your time on yuwie -- the smart way... | Hi friends, a little while ago Vic (who is highly successful here, you must have seen his check floating about on people's pages... if not, go add him) put this notice on the board, and I think it is worth sharing...
"Clicking around on Yuwie and leaving comments on your friends pages are FUN and are great for your UPLINE!
But be smart about the time spent doing those things.
YOUR earnings on Yuwie are most profitable from YOUR DOWNLINE activity on Yuwie.
NOT YOUR PERSONAL PAGE VIEWS.
For example, in November the RSR was $0.54 (very nice)
I had achieved 13,726 personal page views.
I earned only $0.74 for all those page views.
NOW, during that same month at my level 10 on my referral tree there were 847,797 page views of thier activity (not mine) !
I was paid $137.34 on that line (level 10) alone!
I earned a total of $206.84 just for November!
Just remember to set some time for promoting Yuwie and bringing in NEW Members!
What is YOUR Yuwie time worth?

 | Another innovation from Y Guy to help with referrals | Y Guy is awesome, and we now have ANOTHER way to help us with referrals:
The video section is back online fully. You can now add your own videos to Yuwie. You have 2 options to add videos:
- Upload. You can upload your own video files.
- Embed. You can use embed codes from other video sites (youtube, etc)
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- When people view your videos, you will be paid page view credits.
- We will enforce the same content rules for videos that we do for every other area of the site.
- When you upload a video, you will be able to view it and it will show from your profile, but it will not show in the main video area until the video is reviewed and approved by a Yuwie staff member.
- Use
the videos as a recruiting tool. If you're viewing a video and enjoy
it, use the link below the video or the "email a friend" feature to
tell your friends about it. These 2 links have your referral ID
embedded, so if someone clicks the link to view the video and signs up
for Yuwie, they will be your referral.
Please open a support ticket by clicking 'help' in the main menu if you encounter problems. Thanks. | | Posted: 3/4/2008 at 02:00 | Read 152 times | 10 comments | Leave Comment |
