 My Work
  Fairystories and Poems
The Promise
The birds had scantly noticed
As I hanged above their nest,
Which they built of moss and leaf
For their young to take their rest.

I was no ugly duckling
When the squirrels laughed at me
And threw me paw to paw
Beneath my parent tree.

But I'll remember fondly,
All their laughter, all their jokes,
Though an acorn when they knew me,
I shall be great amongst the oaks!

Wow, Now I see why you made a comment in my blog(hoping you will put 1 more, i added a new poem)

You have some very good stuff there yourself.

Have you tried to send them to a magazine?

You have talent yourself you should express it more.
