Of course, we all saw this on the news as it was taking place, but it seems to have slipped down the collective memory hole, and, conveniently enough, virtually off the web as well. Luckily, I saved this incredible clip, which gives a viciously graphic look into the nature of the Katrina incident, and the organization that "managed" it. Did you know that if another "terrorist attack" happens in the US, martial law will be declared, and FEMA will be the government? Are you aware of the camps FEMA has build all over the country, and the comprehensive plan to round up “dissident” citizens, ship them first to warehouses and sports arenas, then onto trains into rurally located work camps, all of which the Houston Chronicle reported on?
Maybe it's time to do some research.

In 1854, Chief Seattle is said to have given this speech as a response to the governor of Washington's wish to buy their land. The speech is commonly called "Seattle's Reply", but there is a great deal of controversy surrounding the actual words of Chief Seattle. This version of the speech is said to be a modified version by the screenwriter Ted Perry, writing it for the purpose of his ecological movie "Home". The speech is famous for its beautiful ecological statement and has been quoted in numerous ecological texts.
The speech is recited by the mythologist Joseph Campbell as a part of his PBS television series "The Power Of Myth".
